Flow Test Water Analysis

To establish the quantity of water available from a water source such as a well or borehole, SCL Water recommends that a flow test be conducted.

 

A flow test will accurately measure the volume of water in the well or borehole and the rate of recovery.

 

This test can take up to 24 hours but has the added benefit of removing dirty water in order to take samples of refreshed water for analysis.

Water Analysis

There are many contaminants to be found in water, broadly split between bacteriological and chemical. Chemical contamination can be further split between that found in suspension (solids) and that in solution.

 

SCL Water are able to have your water analysed to establish any contamination that prevents the supply from conforming to the 2000 Drinking Water Standards.

 

SCL Water are then able to specify and install filtration to raise the quality of the water to the appropriate drinking standard.
